Microgreens

Microgreens are tender young greens. They’re harvested when the embryonic first leaves (cotyledon leaves) and young plant stems reach a length of about five to seven cm, or when the first leaves start popping up.

They’re always cut with stems.

Microgreens have health benefits that are being researched and discovered regularly. Early research has indicated that microgreens contain up to 40% more phytochemicals (beneficial nutrients and components) than their full-grown counterparts. Check this WebMD article for more information.
